Dear Prospective Student,

First, congratulations for seeking to further your education. I believe you’ve come to the right place.

Welcome to our website and thank you for your interest in the Long Island Business Institute. For nearly 50 years, LIBI has served ambitious, career-minded students just like you, providing relevant, business-oriented curriculum in professional academic settings located conveniently around the New York City metropolitan area.

Our main campus, serving Flushing, Queens, has been joined by our new Manhattan location, right in Times Square. Our suburban Commack campus in Suffolk County offers our renowned court-reporting program. We offer both Associates Degree and Certificate level programs and we are accredited by the New York State Board of Regents & Commissioner of Education.

Our academic programs are tailored for students who wish to gain real-world skills that employers desire; our academic faculty brings vast experience from the field into the classroom, so our graduates can enter the job market with confidence. Our alumni can be found in all areas of their chosen fields.

Talk to our financial aid staff about the cost of your LIBI education, and I believe you will be pleasantly surprised, and find LIBI to offer great value, particularly given our alumni successes. Our main focus is on placing our alumni in the best possible careers, but for those students wishing to pursue education beyond the Associates level, we offer the unique “2+2 Program” with many Northeastern colleges.
