I am a recent graduate of the Long Island Business Institute. My experience was nothing but the absolute best. The teachers and staff are incredible. They make you feel extremely comfortable, which gives you all the confidence you need to succeed. LIBI becomes more of a second home and second family. There is no hesitation to ask for help. Everyone, teachers and students, are more than willing to stop what they are doing to help you in any way possible.
Court reporting is an amazing career. LIBI gives you all the tools you need to become the best court reporter you can be. I personally have recommended LIBI to multiple friends and family members, who are exceeding all expectations and are doing great. I am so excited for my future as a Court Reporter, and I know I couldn’t have done it without all of the help from the Long Island Business Institute.

The LIBI teachers are very supportive and accessible. They provided many resources, advice and instructions on how to do a job search on the internet, write a good resume, obtain an internship, and prepare for an interview. I took two semesters off to get my business running, and then, in July of 2015, I opened my daycare center. It’s been very successful, in part because I learned so much in my business management major courses. I learned how to run my business the right way. I’m so happy I attended LIBI. I’ve always been the kind of person who wants to help people and do what’s right. Long Island Business Institute set me on a path where I can do just that. I graduated from LIBI in Homeland Security and Security Management. I’ve learned and grown through the courses I’ve taken. In crisis emerges character. The professors I’ve had were top-notch with extensive knowledge and experiences in their subject matter.
My time at Long Island Business Institute has been well spent. Before going back to college, I was in a dead-end job for 11 years. I have since gotten my GED with which I was able to land a good-paying job with a 401k.
